I’m PJ Jones—a survivor, an author, and a holistic trauma-informed lif mindset coach. My story didn’t begin with me; it was shaped by generations of abuse, a cycle I was born into. From the moment I entered this world, trauma was all I knew. Severe physical abuse and emotional neglect defined my childhood, leaving me without a sense of safety or belonging. As a teenager, I found myself homeless, navigating a world that had already failed me. Vulnerable and alone, I became trapped in an abusive relationship with a man seven years older, enduring over a decade of pain and control.

After 12 years of torture, I finally broke free. I was determined to rebuild my life, and for a while, I did. Six years after escaping, I took a leap and enrolled in college, ready to create a future on my terms. But then, the unimaginable happened—the loss of my 19-year-old son shattered me completely. That grief became the turning point of my healing journey. I refused to let pain define me. Instead, I chose to use my story to help others.

With decades of experience working with at-risk families, I founded Soulful Resilience Journey in 2024, a space where survivors can find healing, empowerment, and a path forward. Through coaching, workshops, transformative retreats, and my motivational summits—including the Fearless and Flourishing Women’s Summit, Rise and Thrive: Empowered Voices Summit, and the upcoming Elevate and Endure Leadership Conference—I create platforms for survivors to share their voices and reclaim their strength.

I also host the podcast Insights of a Survivor and the YouTube network Empowered Voices: Finding Strength in Survivors, where I bring courageous stories, discussions, and resources to those who need them most. My book, A Place to Belong, is another piece of my mission—to ensure that no survivor is left unheard and no story is left in the shadows.
